Raj Kapoor’s final years were marked by loneliness and declining health, as revealed by his daughter, Reema Jain. He deeply missed his departed colleagues and struggled with asthma following ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’. Despite his physical decline, his spirit remained youthful. He passed away shortly after receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1988, his legacy honored recently by his family.
