Anushka Sharma felt disheartened and cried after losing the Best Female Debut award to Asin for Ghajini, despite being convinced she deserved it for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She believed her newcomer status warranted encouragement over Asin’s multi-language experience. Anushka has since appeared in many successful Bollywood films.
