A New Mexico court blocked the release of public records displaying the bodies of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa. The court ruled to protect the family’s privacy, but allowed autopsy and investigative reports without body images to be released. Hackman died of heart disease, while Arakawa succumbed to hantavirus pulmonary syndrome.
