Skilled dredgers and over 16,000 laborers endured risky conditions to reclaim 26 hectares of land at Prayagraj’s Sangam ahead of Maha Kumbh. The project, involving dredging and creating embankments, will enable additional pilgrims to take holy dips. Despite the challenges, no lives were lost during this strenuous endeavor.
