Vishal Gawli, with prior cases of sexual assault, was arrested for the rape and murder of a 13-year-old girl in Kalyan. After the crime, he and his wife, Sakshi, transported the body in an autorickshaw to Bhiwandi and dumped it. CCTV footage helped in tracking them down, leading to Sakshi’s confession and Gawli’s capture.
